committee provided sponsorships for several major horse shows in
Indiana, which sponsorships totaled over $5000. The Committee
encourages organizations interested in seeking funding for 2009
to submit an application therefore to the Committee no less than
60 days prior to the event to be sponsored. For all requests
for funding for 2010, the deadline for submission of application
materials is December 31, 2009.
Long term

-
Increasing the number and amount of sponsorships available
to affiliate Indiana Horse Council, Inc. members.
-
Developing fund raising plans to facilitate the increase in
the number and amount of sponsorships for applicants.
-
Sponsoring educational clinics, seminars and workshops
designed for horse show managers, judges, and volunteers
-

volunteers for events in Indiana

managers for use in improving horse shows in Indiana.
-
Developing a sponsorship form for funding applicants.
The IHC
Horse Show Development committee encourages cooperation and
cohesiveness between all breeds and discipline organizations in
the Indiana equine industry. If all such organizations speak
with one voice to national and local government and show boards
then all organizations can be more successful.
The IHC
Horse Show Development committee meets quarterly and is looking

competition venues in Indiana as safe, fun, and competitive
