The equine industry within Indiana is extremely versatile; from racing, showing, trail riding, and rodeo the state has an immense amount of horse enthusiasts who rely on the Indiana Horse Council (IHC) to represent their interests. As one of the ways to better understand and represent the horse owners of Indiana the IHC created the Indiana Horse Council Queen Program.
The program is designed to raise awareness of the Indiana Horse Council and its efforts within the equine industry as well as to honor the knowledge of Indiana’s upcoming horsewomen while working to inspire, encourage, and help young women succeed in the equine industry. The Indiana Horse Council Queen is a highly motivated and active horsewoman who makes several appearances at equine-related events and activities throughout the state of Indiana. During her year reign she works to promote not only the Indiana Horse Council, but the Indiana horse industry in general. Her initial appearance of the year will be at the Hoosier Horse Fair & Expo held the first weekend in May at the Hendricks Co. Fairgrounds & Conference Complex in Danville, Indiana.
As an IHC Queen Committee Member, I would like to ask for your involvement in this amazing program. We are currently looking for scholarship sponsors for the 2020 Indiana Horse Council Queen Program. If you are interested in encouraging young horse women to further themselves within the Indiana Equine Industry, please contact me, Ashley Null, at ihcqueen8103@gmail.com to find out how you can get involved.

Thank you for your time,
Ashley Koomler-Null
